I placed a tool chest in lay-a-way in January. On Sunday, February 8, I went to the White Oak store to pick up the item. It would not fit into my car, so I asked for a refund. The sales associate said no problem, the amount would be credited back to my card. I called the store on Tuesday Feb. 10. I was told it would take 4 days before the amount would be credited back to my card. It is now, February 14, six days later. The pending charge is now complete. It appears like Sears is trying to keep both the item and my money. I’ll never shop there again.
