EQM contacted me to interview for an Account Manager position based on their interest in my resume. I arrived at a squalid Times Square building, took a small fredight elevator to the 5th floor to an unmarked door, walked in to confront about 15 people packed into a small reception area. I was given a 4-page form and a clipboard to fill out before my scheduled 4pm appointment. There were no chairs available. I scanned the room, returned the form blank and left. I was expecting a “professional” business encounter, but this was more typical of a “cattle call” that is used to call actors for Broadway productions. .
